Jan learned a passion for horses after her daughter began riding at a young age. She worked at Greenmoor for years before the opportunity arose to take over the management of the farm in 2022. Jan spends significant time researching and furthering her equine management education with professionals in the area, traveling to conferences, and utilizing resources from Penn State.

The horse that brought Jan’s family to Greenmoor in 2009 still resides in the upper barn.
